Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our organization as Community Volunteers. As a Community Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing our community programs and initiatives.

This is a non-paid position, but it offers valuable experience and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of community events and programs
  • Recruit and manage volunteers for various projects and activities
  • Provide supervision and guidance to volunteers during events
  • Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for volunteer engagement and retention
  • Conduct outreach efforts to promote community programs and recruit new volunteers
  • Assist with public speaking engagements to raise awareness about our organization's mission and impact
  • Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM software to track volunteer information and activities
  • Manage social media platforms to promote volunteer opportunities and engage with the community
  • Support fundraising efforts by assisting with donor management using Raiser Edge or similar software

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in social work, volunteer management, or related field is preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in using Salesforce or similar CRM software for volunteer management
  • Knowledge of social media platforms for community engagement and promotion
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed for events or meetings
