GSG Protective Services is looking for a Weather/Tactical Analyst. We are seeking to hire an onsite Tactical Intelligence Analyst.

The Analyst will work in supporting a 24/7/365 Global Security Operations Center, creating tactical intelligence products to serve the broader security department.

The Analyst will be responsible for analyzing weather emerging incidents around the globe and assessing their impact to the company, executives, employees, offices, and productions.


Responsibilities:

  • Open-

Source Data Collection:

Continuously monitor various online sources, including weather, social media, to identify relevant data, trends, and developments with potential to impact company assets.


  • Tactical Intel Monitoring and Reporting: Identify and track breaking incidents, gathering relevant details to support field personnel in mitigating risk to company assets toinclude special events and productions.
  • Report Generation: Prepare clear, concise weather reports based on gathered data,
highlighting key findings and recommendations, with speed and accuracy. Provide

historical analysis, if relevant. Gather field personnel feedback for executive briefings.

Clearly articulate the risk to company assets.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with intelligence analysts, security teams, and
experts to present operational risk analysis.

  • Monitoring Tools: Utilize various platforms and technologies to enhance data collection
and analysis capabilities. Maintain accurate company asset lists within platforms.

  • Trends and Innovation: Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and methodologies in
the field of open-source intelligence. Maintain situational awareness on major domestic and global events.

  • Incident Management: Work with the GSOC and other divisions of the Global Security team in documenting and managing security or crisis related incidents to include special events and productions.
  • Crisis Comms: Using Titan HST to send critical information and notification to recipients at special events or productions.
  • Inclement Weather: Working with our Environmental Health and Safety partners to
monitor remotely inclement weather for special events and productions. Send critical

communications regarding Lightning Strikes, Tornadoes Warnings, etc. to production

and security personnel of impending inclement weather threats to their respective

areas.

Specific Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (e.g., Intelligence Studies, Security Studies, Weather, Meteorology, International Relations, or Computer Science)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and interpret opensource
information.

  • Knowledge of opensource intelligence methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software and tools.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, and willingness to assist the team when needed.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment while working under stressful conditions.
