Senior Financial Analyst

Position Overview:
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is on the lookout for a Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Americas Finance Team. This pivotal role will contribute to the expansion of our franchise operations by conducting comprehensive market analysis, evaluating historical data, forecasting future trends, and providing actionable insights for enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in both short-term and long-term financial planning, encompassing forecasting, reporting, and tracking of operational metrics.
- Collaborate in the formulation of initiative analyses and business cases, working cross-functionally to identify value sources, risks, and prerequisites for success.
- Employ statistical modeling techniques to facilitate data-driven decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.
- Gain a deep understanding of business drivers and operations to assist leaders in making informed, data-driven decisions.
- Identify and implement process enhancements, including the development of standard and custom reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
- Provide analytical and strategic support on an as-needed basis, utilizing market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation to offer recommendations to senior management.
- Oversee the General & Administrative (G&A) cost model, including budgeting, forecasting, and detailed reviews of actual expenditures to promote effective cost management.
- Assist in the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, coordinating meetings with functional leaders to discuss G&A requirements and adjust forecasts accordingly.
- Support the preparation of comprehensive business reviews and updates for various stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard operations by protecting sensitive information.
- Execute special projects as directed by the Senior Finance Manager, as defined by the Finance team.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Statistics.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis within a multinational corporation.
- Experience in the food service or retail sectors is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with process improvement methodologies, project management, and change management is strongly preferred.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to navigate rapidly changing environments.
- Strong strategic thinking, creativity, and tactical execution skills.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, influencing, and team-building capabilities.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Well-organized with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
