This position offers a hybrid work arrangement involving attendance at one of our main offices in Maumee, OH, North Olmstead, OH, Deerfield, IL, or Oak Creek, WI for a minimum of 3 days a week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays), fostering collaboration and innovation. Additionally, candidates should be prepared for travel, approximately 25% of the time, predominantly to customer sites.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with Fortune Brand's COEs and functions to Develop Product Strategies aligned with the business unit's strategic plan, emphasizing both 80-20 principles and total product lifecycle management mindset. Define the selling approach, product innovations, and market positioning across various channels.
  • Create and implement Annual Product Plans to drive growth, enhance market share, and achieve profitability objectives. Manage trade-offs effectively to execute necessary initiatives for pruning, fixing, and growing product lines profitably.
  • Establish Pricing Architectures for product lines and steer the annual pricing strategy to optimize profitable market share. Collaborate with Revenue Growth Management, sales, analytics, and finance teams to set list prices, assess competitive positioning, and evaluate the impact of pricing actions.
  • Act as an Influential figure in guiding the organization on market strategies. Provide Leadership and Insight on business, technical, or competitive matters related to the assigned product lines.
  • Set objectives, strategies, and timelines for New Product Innovations to drive market share growth.
  • Advocate the Voice of the Customer by understanding customer needs and market trends thoroughly. Conduct competitive analyses to identify product advantages and gaps.
  • Conduct regular Profit Reviews for product line performance and recommend actions to achieve market share, revenue, and profitability targets.
  • Effectively Communicate product line strategies, priorities, and customer requirements. Provide sales and Training Support to boost revenue and profitability for product lines.
  • Assist in Brand Marketing activities by offering product knowledge, promotional strategies, and reviewing marketing collateral for accuracy.
  • Additional duties as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of product management experience in durable goods manufacturing.
  • Diverse market segment and channel experience.
  • Proficient analytical skills for market evaluation, pricing, and line management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SAP.
  • Approximately 25% travel requirement, mainly to customer sites.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Prior experience in consumer or durable goods.
