This factory position works as part of a team in the manufacturing of seating and positioning products. Following company safety requirements and quality system standards is required. Flexibility of daily job demand tasks and keeping the work area clean and orderly is required.

Essential Job Functions:

To perform the job successfully, the individual must accomplish the following:
  • Fabricate, sew, and or assemble product to daily demand requirements
  • Ability to operate sewing machines
  • Quality conscience, responsible for own quality of product
  • Keeps work area clean and orderly
  • Ensures and follows safety requirements and standards
  • Perform in-process and final inspections of sewn products
  • Perform duties as assigned by team leader
  • Perform Scheduled PM's (oiling and cleaning) on sewing equipment
  • Create and maintain accurate records for all work order jobs
  • Ability to display and maintain a positive attitude at all times
Qualifications:

Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Experience:
  • Able to work effectively independently and within a team environment.
  • Possess effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly adaptable and responsive to changing business needs.
Working Environment:
  • Position may require extended hours on occasion.
  • Position requires frequent sitting and standing in a manufacturing environment.
  • Requires lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally or as part of group
