The Program Manager will direct and coordinate the overall operations of employment services operations. They will hire, train, and supervise staff, including delegating and monitoring tasks assigned to Program Coordinators. They will promote community awareness of agency services and ensure the development and implementation of vocational activities that are person-centered and promote positive outcomes for persons served.

Job Type: salaried/exempt

Pay: Starting at $58,500 annually

Hours: 40 hours, Monday through Friday

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age with a High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor degree in related field required. Several years of experience in providing employment supports to adults with intellectual disabilities would be considered in lieu of a degree. Minimum of three years of experience in related field. Minimum of two years in a supervisory or management capacity. Experience with budget management required. Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and insured vehicle that meets minimum State of Connecticut insurance requirements. Willingness and ability to transport participants in personal vehicle required. Ability to maintain a patient and positive attitude. Skilled in problem solving and decision making. Must be able to write clearly and concisely to maintain accurate records Ability to read and understand policies and regulations and to translate general guidelines in to specific action. Requirements

Must be able to sit, stand and walk at an assigned location(s) and work for extended periods of time; bend/stoop, kneel and balance frequently; climb, reach above shoulder level; push/pull, squat and crouch occasionally; with assistance, lift, carry and position individuals of various weight. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must be able to drive multi-passenger vehicles for extended periods throughout the day.
