Job Description:


Role Overview:


As a leader, you will oversee a team responsible for formulating and executing operational strategies, spanning acquisition, customer service, support, and back-office functions. You will drive analytical initiatives to create and assess strategies, policies, and procedures while developing and mentoring teams to identify, manage, and mitigate risks effectively, ensuring robust risk management under your supervision.



Main Responsibilities:

  • Devising and implementing strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Enhancing system capabilities to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Monitoring and upholding system and decision integrity to minimize adverse customer impacts.
  • Supervising and nurturing a team, including recruitment, performance assessments, and skill development.
  • Initiating, prioritizing, and overseeing projects to address business requirements.
  • Oversight of legal, compliance, and audit procedures for the team.

Essential Qualifications


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in Consumer Finance, Analytics, Operations Strategy/Research, or related fields.
  • In absence of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of experience in Consumer Finance, Analytics, Operations Strategy/Research, or related areas.

Desirable Qualifications


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in Consumer Finance, Analytics, Operations Strategy/Research, or related domains.
  • Without a degree, 10+ years of experience in product management, specifically in mortgage underwriting, or operations strategy, particularly in the mortgage underwriting sector.
