Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Director of Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our senior living communities, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and supervision to our operations teams, ensuring that our communities are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Monitor revenue, community census, and staff efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth.
  • Implement and oversee new directives for growth in your assigned territory, working closely with our executive directors and marketing teams.
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching/counseling of staff members, ensuring that our teams are equipped to provide exceptional care and service.
  • Support our executive directors in building community census, retaining existing residents, and promoting our communities to the public.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate records, working closely with our compliance team.
  • Coordinate the planning and implementation of pre-opening processes for new communities, ensuring a smooth transition and high-quality service.
  • Conduct routine operations reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth.
  • Develop and implement new hire orientation and ongoing training programs, ensuring that our staff members are equipped to provide exceptional care and service.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to our teams, promoting a culture of excellence and customer service.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or 9+ years of experience in senior housing operations.
  • Applicable state licensure/certification required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in senior housing operations, with proven leadership and organizational skills.
  • Supervisory responsibilities, managing 5+ subordinate supervisors and 30-50 employees.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with older adults and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Proven experience in staffing, leading, developing, and retaining a strong team.
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations, be flexible, and work well under pressure.
  • Respect for resident rights and confidentiality, with a strong commitment to customer service and hospitality.
