Revenue Accounting Manager

Vaco Boston has partnered with our client who is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager. In this role you will oversee the revenue recognition process, from contract review to revenue recognition. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of US GAAP revenue recognition principles.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure the revenue is accurately and timely recognized

· Review supporting evidence (such as proof of delivery and signed contracts) and provide accounting expertise in revenue recognition processes, including product catalogue, customer, subscription set-ups in billing and accounting systems.

· Prepare and update accounting schedules to calculate ASC 606 revenue

· Perform analytical reviews on the monthly Revenue Analytics and Balance Sheet account reconciliations

· Clearly communicate to our internal partners (e.g. FP&A and the business) on revenue trends and flux

Qualifications:

· Minimum of bachelor’s degree in accounting, and/or CPA.

· Strong technical accounting knowledge of ASC 606

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent knowledge of Excel.

· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
