RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • The Task Order Manager (TOM) is responsible for management and oversight of the successful work of a multi-disciplinary team to meet all Task Order (TO) requirements.
  • Works under limited supervision and direction reporting to the NSTS VP.
  • Responsible for supervision of all Contractor employees assigned to TO and regularly exercises discretionary and substantial decision-making authority to effectively respond to TO requirements.
  • Works collaboratively and in concert with MTC Site Managers.
  • Provides technical support and training, operational activities, and logistical activities
  • Must be available during normal operating hours within 1 hour of notification to meet in person or by phone with the Government site leads, and/or the Contracting Officer (KO).
  • Interacts and effectively communicates with corporate and MTC leadership to determine project scope, planning needs, and reporting requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Minimum 10 years’ supervisory experience; minimum 8 years’ experience with military training and training support operations;
  • 3 years’ management experience over a contract with similar size, scope, and complexity, within the last 10 years;
  • 3 years’ experience with military simulations within the last 10 years;
  • Battalion or higher Command or Operations assignment, or equivalent FA57 assignment;
  • Experience in operations and/or training requirements at division or higher level, or equivalent Civilian or Corporate level of responsibility.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Army MTCs or Army simulations.

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 

BA/BS degree (Master’s preferred) in Management, Business or related discipline and Army Command & General Staff College (CGSC) or Intermediate Level Education or equivalent level military schooling.

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 

Must be able to obtain and maintain a current Active Security clearance and meet other eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
