Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Project Engineering Specialist to join our team, focusing on the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center – Instrumentation System. This role is crucial for ensuring effective management and oversight of maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee maintenance management and conduct assessments of system failures.
  • Document maintenance actions and monitor procurement processes.
  • Assist in operational planning and support for ongoing and future rotational operations.
  • Participate in meetings with subcontractors to evaluate maintenance strengths and weaknesses.
  • Provide regular updates on purchase requests and ensure timely processing through the Program Management Office.
  • Collaborate with the sourcing team to ensure procurement meets project requirements.
  • Report maintenance status and compliance to the Site Manager, addressing any concerns regarding operational requirements.
  • Conduct necessary inventories and assist with property induction as required.
  • Utilize the Management Information System to accurately record maintenance actions and track work orders.
  • Work alongside the site manager to develop and evaluate Basis of Estimate (BoE) submissions.
  • Represent the site manager in meetings when necessary, providing updates to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate material purchase requests and prioritize based on work order needs.
  • Manage corporate credit card purchases related to logistics and ensure accurate monthly reconciliations.
  • Monitor and process consumable material requests in accordance with budgetary guidelines.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance is required.
  • Exceptional time management and communication skills.
  • Experience in maintenance processes, reporting, and documentation.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications for report creation and status articulation.
  • Able to assess situations quickly and take decisive action when necessary.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Commitment to excellence in all tasks.
  • Familiarity with contractual requirements and adherence.
  • Previous experience with the ATMP program.
  • Knowledge of AWARE systems.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard hours when required.

Security Clearance Statement:

This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens for consideration.

Work Environment:

This role will be performed onsite at a designated facility, with a rotating 40-hour work week as assigned.
