  • Requires 7+ years’ experience leading training sessions / lead instructors experience within a classroom environment or equivalent.
  • Requires senior-level skill set in Project Reporting.
  • Must have a working knowledge of US Army, including active force, ARNG and US Army Reserves mobilization/demobilization, deployment/redeployment and unit readiness current mission sets and operational business models and practices.
  • Requires senior-level experience in leading a team to develop DRRS-A training program scenario- based POIs; including mobile training team training packages, Software Users Manuals, Executive level overviews, basic and advance level soldier and civilian POIs.
  • Must have a technical and operational knowledge of mission-centric software applications relative to US Army mobilization/demobilization, deployment/redeployment and unit readiness.
  • Must have general knowledge of joint staff/sister service equivalent mobilization/demobilization, deployment/redeployment and unit readiness command information systems.
  • Must have senior-level experience leading a team to execute training management of 32 courses per year; maintaining and managing a student registration and tracking web portal; testing, evaluating, and integrating new and updated mission software applications concepts to DRRS-A training program; and coordinating with Government POCs for mission application management.
  • Security Clearance –SECRET.

Responsibilities:

  • Support development of short and long-term IT plans by identifying specific training needs for technology solutions, technology refresh opportunities and recommendations to meet mission requirements.
  • Provide sufficient on-site/MTT personnel to perform Operational, Mobilization, Demobilization, Deployment, Redeployment Planning, Execution & Force Readiness operational sustainment services.
  • Provide US Army and Joint level mobilization/demobilization and deployment/redeployment planning/execution and unit readiness mission centric applications training to general base of users, including soldiers and civilians assigned to Customer units CONUS-wide.
  • Provide primary formal instructor-led training in classroom setting and/or in mobile training format.
  • Conduct formal instruction in local HQ classroom setting format & remote MTT format simultaneously.
  • Provide principal staff services from office areas managed by G-3/5/7.
  • Provide instruction for basic and advanced training levels.
  • Maintain staff coordination with G-3/5/7, Operations and Readiness Directorate for course content, documentation development, scheduling, and project reporting.
  • Make courses scenario-based using the current business model of Customer’s readiness, mobilization/demobilization, and deployment/redeployment processes as a baseline.
  • Administer courses that are 3 to 5 days in length for 18 students per class with the possibility of expanding up to 30 students per course; schedule training classes at other CONUS locations using an MTT framework and coordinating with remote site personnel and G-3/5/7 Operations and Readiness Directorate.
  • Provide Force Readiness instruction for DRRS-A, Network Unit Status Report (NETUSR), Web NETUSR, Force Registration, and Ad Hoc Query; hold classes at a minimum twice monthly to select personnel; expect to conduct a minimum of 24 sessions with surge capacity to support up to 28 sessions
  • Provide Force Registration instruction at a minimum once quarterly to select senior personnel; conduct a minimum of 4 sessions with surge capacity to support 6 sessions.
  • Develop the appropriate adjustments to the current program of instruction when future mission applications or enhancements to current (legacy) Applications occur.
  • Provide training on Mobilization/Demobilization and Deployment/Redeployment operational planning/execution at a minimum of once quarterly; conduct at minimum of 4 sessions with surge capacity to support 6 sessions.
  • Present a classroom training environment which includes, as a baseline standard, a primary instructor coupled with an assistant instructor to facilitate key HQDA policy and mission driven “check-on learning” metrics Force Readiness Instruction for DRRS-A, Unit Status Report and Force Registration; develop the appropriate adjustments to the current enforced POI in concert with the Customer when future mission applications or enhancements to current applications occur.
  • Participate in future mission application integration testing as availability permits.
  • Perform mission application tests specific to Army/Joint level readiness, mobilization and deployment, and other functional and supporting procedures under the guidance of the COR nominated/KO appointed HQ G3 ACOR.
  • Maintain frequent staff coordination with the appropriate Army level mission applications manager to ensure currency of course curriculum, application and documentation.
  • Prepare all course material as required including MTT versions; includes reviewing supporting Software User’s Manual as delivered by the Program of Record Government PM.
  • Coordinate course documentation updates with Customer; make corrections and resubmit deliverables changes within 7 workdays of notification of deficiencies.
  • Maintain a student registration program for tracking course activity using the most efficient and automated means available.
  • Perform as on-site administrator for a Customer-wide student registration web site.
  • Must have and sustain a well-rounded and senior level knowledge base in the core subject areas of Army/Joint Mobilization, Army/Joint Deployment and Force Readiness.
  • Coordinate monthly scheduling calendar for DRRS-A classes.
  • Ensure students fill out class evaluations prior to the end of each class; place class evaluations in a designated SharePoint site for government review.
  • Manage and maintain classrooms; ensuring computers are on for necessary patches and updates.
  • Assist with mission centric SW loads and any computer issues for classroom(s).
  • Create, modify, and schedule monthly training calendar for classes.
  • Print/bind class documentation.
  • Conduct in-house train-the-trainer sessions.
  • Create, modify, and manage Monthly Status Reports.
  • Work with G3/5/7, Operations and Readiness Directorate for applications when issues arise.
