This role focuses on the enhancement and implementation of business systems and processes aimed at improving efficiency within the Revenue Operations teams. The Systems Analyst will engage with various stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including IT, external partners, and business colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

Analysis & Technical:

  • Creates comprehensive documentation such as business requirements, process maps, communications, use cases, and user stories that identify challenges and opportunities.
  • Converts business needs into actionable requirements across diverse business systems or processes with minimal guidance.
  • Utilizes tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams, and Excel to facilitate and communicate daily operations effectively.
  • Demonstrates a broad understanding of various business systems, including interrelations of data capture and processes across multiple systems.
  • Continuously explores new system functionalities and suggests ways to optimize their use.
Problem Solving:
  • Identifies issues related to business systems by analyzing potential causes and developing hypothesis-driven solutions. Assists in pinpointing root causes and brainstorming system solutions.
  • Provides recommendations and synthesizes insights from visualizing process flows across different systems or business units.
  • Familiar with the SDLC and aids the business in navigating through the stages of the process.
  • Recognizes the broader implications of projects on overall business objectives and proactively communicates any arising issues.
  • Collaborates with business leaders to develop requirements that translate their needs across various systems or processes.
  • Acts as the primary contact for IT communications regarding code and data readiness, facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation.
  • Guides businesses on expected system operations post-release.
  • Serves as the main liaison with IT for in-depth investigations.
Project & Stakeholder Management:
  • Leads working sessions and fosters collaboration between business teams and IT, including requirement reviews and project status meetings.
  • Drives actions to advance personal work streams and identifies opportunities for process improvements.
  • Maintains current documentation of data and process dependencies across various projects and systems.
  • Communicates proactively regarding deadlines and potential obstacles.
  • Builds and nurtures collaborative relationships with all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 1 year of experience, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner to diverse audiences.
