The Role
Cool Global Lifestyle and Fashion PR Agency is looking for a VIP Manager with 5+years’ of experience to lead its newly growing VIP, Community and Influence department. This is a self-starter role who will be a part of a growing team and will report to the Fashion Senior Account Director and support on various client VIP and influencer needs across the business, both paid and organic.Responsibilities:
Further the development of VIP/Celebrity and Influencer services, building relationships with talent and agency representation across fashion and lifestyle
Generate top-tier opportunities for clients to engage with talent targets, event attendance, social media campaigns, dressing, gifting, loaning, etc. via both earned and paid engagements
Be an expert in the talent space, sharing thoughtful insight with clients (including but not limited to: VIP/Celebrity activities, the competitive landscape, industry news, fee structures, high quality talent recommendations)
Utilize personal contacts with stylists, talent and agents to optimize potential for organic/earned placements and event invites
Actively work to create new relationships with VIP/Celebrity and Influencer talent and their agents
Develop thoughtful 360 VIP/Celebrity and influencer strategies for seeding, gifting, dressing, and loans for existing clients and new business pitches
Be able to think strategically and outside the box for VIP opportunities that may not be fashion focused and translate a successful fashion strategy to other clients including the likes of Polaroid, The New York Times,IT Cosmetics, 1800 Tequila and Jim Beam
Lead community development for clients focusing in on NYC influencer communities that are niche yet impactful within the fashion, culture and lifestyle landscape
Experience managing paid partnerships (big and small) is a plus, not a need. However, the candidate must be able to thoughtfully input talent recommendations and proposed deal structures
Must have a general understanding of the earned media landscape - PR experience is a plus but not a need
Must feel comfortable and confident with client communication
Must be willing to work alongside/ mentor a small team including 1-2 junior staff members
