This role will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive public relations and VIP services strategy that drives brand awareness, reinforces our brand ethos, and drives business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a VIP talent partnerships chart, including strategies for seeding, gifting, and dressing.
- Set goals and KPIs around VIP/Celebrity strategy, constantly innovating and adapting to what works and what doesn't.
- Coordinate with the social team to present VIP talent for content creation.
- Research and update the 360 Marketing Calendar with important dates, including cultural events, brand initiatives, and consumer trends.
- Concept and execute celebrity, influencer, and media events.
- Track the retail landscape, competitive environment, and consumer trends to ensure Alice + Olivia is positioned as an industry leader.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create compelling moments for product launches and services.
- Build relationships with innovative leaders and influencers to grow brand, product, and industry awareness.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to solidify Alice + Olivia as a leader in the retail and denim industry.
- Develop and execute a PR strategy that includes traditional and non-traditional PR tactics, influencer marketing, and meaningful experiences for media and customers.
- Ensure a consistent brand message across all brand communications, including press releases for omnichannel initiatives.
- Pitch media and secure top-tier press placements.
- Create and package communication tools to educate agency partners, associates, and customers about core brand messages and key brand initiatives.
- Oversee tracking and communication of press coverage to the internal team.
- Manage the calendar.
- High-energy, positive self-starter with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Vast network of VIP and editor talent.
- Creative problem solver and decision maker.
- Proven ability to handle time-sensitive projects and prioritize multiple objectives simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree (minimum) required.
- 5+ years of work experience.
- Budget/revenue management experience preferred.
