The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for supporting and guiding the development, integrity, and continuous improvement of reliability processes, systems, and tools to support overall plant and equipment reliability.
Responsibilities:

Conducting reliability analyses on new and existing equipment, systems, and processes to identify potential failure modes and develop mitigation strategies.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate reliability engineering principles into facility and equipment design, maintenance, and manufacturing processes.
Performing reliability testing and data analysis to assess performance under various operating conditions and environmental factors.
Developing and implementing reliability improvement plans, including preventative and predictive maintenance strategies, that support and enhance a RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) program.
Monitoring and analyzing plant and facility performance data to identify trends, root causes of failures, and opportunities for equipment and facility enhancements.
Supporting and leading failure investigations and root cause analysis efforts to identify corrective actions and prevent recurrence of reliability issues.
Providing technical expertise and support to reliability, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve reliability-related issues and drive continuous improvement.
Developing, analyzing, and maintaining reliability models, metrics, and tools to evaluate and track plant and equipment reliability.
Participating in design reviews, FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and risk assessments to proactively address potential reliability concerns.
Collaborating with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), suppliers, and vendors to ensure the reliability of equipment, components, and materials.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in reliability engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience.
Strong knowledge of reliability principles, methodologies, systems, and tools, such as predictive technologies, continuous improvements methodologies, data and trend development and analysis.
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems, KPI development, change management, scheduling and planning, and technical training programs.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects, drive initiatives, and implement reliability best practices.
Ability to travel domestically 50% of time, required.
Hybrid work ineligible.
