Your proficiency will be vital in guaranteeing the efficiency and uptime of our services and functionalities. Working in close collaboration with development teams and other key stakeholders, you will be essential in ensuring that our systems are dependable and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and sustain monitoring frameworks for essential systems and infrastructure
  • Resolve system outages and performance challenges
  • Develop automation scripts to optimize tasks such as deployment and monitoring
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure the reliability and scalability of new services
  • Enhance data transmission speed and minimize latency
  • Define and assess Service Level Objectives
  • Conduct post-incident reviews to analyze occurrences and recommend enhancements
  • Review code modifications and assist with deployments
  • Guide a team of site reliability engineers and provide mentorship
  • Communicate effectively with various audiences

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in computer science or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering
  • Demonstrated success in managing mission-critical applications
  • Experience with cloud-native applications and containerization technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Comprehensive understanding of cloud computing platforms and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
