The Business Development Representative 

The Business Development team is instrumental in generating revenue growth for the SMB Sales team by focusing on generating business through account research, strategic prospecting, and impactful outreach.  

We are looking for dynamic, high-energy talent to drive revenue growth to the SMB Sales teams’ pipeline. In this role, you will develop a pipeline of targeted accounts for SMB and execute innovative and impactful outreach efforts. If you excel at problem-solving and creative outreach that drives results, this could be a role for you.  

  

What You’ll Do: 

  • Generate a pipeline of business through strategic and targeted outbound prospecting for the SMB segment.
  • Research and build accounts which includes, for example, finding prospects, reaching out by phone, emails, InMails.
  • Balance and prioritize targeted accounts and various initiatives to meet and exceed your monthly metrics and quarterly quota.
  • Ability to confidently communicate and collaborate with the Sales team on account planning and approach.
  • Manage time effectively to pursue accounts with prospects across multiple time zones, particularly for the West Coast accounts.  
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows and networking events, when needed. 

  

We Require: 

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1.5 years+ required in B2B outbound sales-related role, i.e. cold calling, email campaigns and prospecting skills.
  • Proficiency in outbound account prospecting, including researching, planning and engaging prospects, and utilizing a multi-touch approach through cold calling, emailing, Inmails, and more.
  • Proven track record of achieving metrics and consistently achieving quota is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Clear and succinct communicator, which includes articulating Suvoda’s products and communicating our value with senior-level executives.
  • Curiosity – you thrive to learn.
  • Organizational skills to effectively prioritize initiatives and manage time effectively.
  • Strong problem-solver who is enthusiastic about developing creative and innovative content and phone approaches.
  • Self-starter mindset who has the drive and motivation to succeed while also in a remote environment.  
  • "Out-of-the-box" thinker who is enthusiastic about developing creative and innovative content and phone approaches.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and/ or sales automation tools to manage account information and track progression is a plus.
  • Desire to learn and further develop your sales skills.
