Job Overview
: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Territory Manager - Automation Sales to target contract manufacturing and manufacturing sectors, specifically in the Food and Beverage industry. This role will cover the Mid-East/South-East region of the United States, focusing on areas within the Nashville, Atlanta, and Charlotte triangle. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in manufacturing equipment sales and will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our client base.
Key Responsibilities
:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting contract manufacturing and Food & Beverage companies within the specified region.
  • Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in manufacturing organizations.
  • Present and demonstrate automation equipment solutions tailored to client needs, emphasizing efficiency and process improvements.
  • Travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients and prospects, conducting in-person meetings and consultations (travel requirements vary depending on your location).
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure customer satisfaction through excellent post-sales support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and follow-up on projects.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets with uncapped commission potential.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing equipment sales, preferably in the Food and Beverage industry.
  • Strong understanding of automation solutions and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in contract manufacturing sales is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently from a home office and travel as needed.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
    

Compensation:
  • Base salary of $115K - $125K based on experience.
  • Uncapped commission, offering high earning potential based on performance.
  • Travel will vary depending on your location within the assigned region.
