The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Retention Marketing Analytics. In this role, you will lead all aspects of the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to improve customer retention metrics across Email, Mobile (SMS/Push), and Direct Mail. 

Key Responsibilities: 

-Collaborate with Retention Channel managers to develop the Marketing Effectiveness team’s strategic roadmap and team objectives. 

-Lead a team to conduct in-depth analyses of customer behavior, channel performance, testing, and forecasting to drive retention marketing performance. 

-Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track the effectiveness of retention channels. 

-Build out dashboards leveraging 3rd party data sources and CRM data to provide Sephora with deep analytical insights. 

-Collaborate with Product, Engineers, and MarTech to monitor, identify, and resolve data integrity issues. 

Qualifications: 

-Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field preferred. 

-8+ years of Analytics experience, with a focus on customer retention. 

-Excellent communication and presentation skills, including ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences that drive strategic decisions.  

-Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc. 

-Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. 

-Experience with test design measurement (e.g. A/B testing) 

-Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and effectively influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

The annual base salary range for this position is $142, #  - # , # The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.  Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.  Sephora offers a generous benefits package to full-time employees, which includes comprehensive health, dental and vision plans; a superior 401(k) plan, various paid time off programs; employee discount/perks; life insurance; disability insurance; flexible spending accounts; and an employee referral bonus program.
