The Senior Manager, Talent Management will oversee the development and execution of talent management strategies with a focus on enterprise learning and development, leadership development, succession planning, and performance management. The Senior Manager will work closely with leadership and People Operations colleagues to align talent initiatives with organizational goals and drive a high-performance culture. This role will report directly to the VP Talent Management.

What you’ll do:
  • Develop and implement talent management strategies to support organizational goals, including playing a pivotal role in curriculum building, leadership development, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Align talent management initiatives with business objectives to drive overall organizational effectiveness. Research and provide recommendations related to the selection of a companywide L&D resource.
  • Facilitate in person and remote training sessions across the organization, monitor
    training effectiveness by gathering feedback to identify improvements in content
    and delivery.
  • Oversee the implementation of a new performance management strategy across the PrizePicks organization that may include selection of a new performance management tool.
  • Manage the company’s performance management cycle including guiding leaders on objective setting, performance reviews, and development planning. Partner closely with the Business Partner team to create timelines and communication plans to ensure a seamless implementation across the organization.
  • Provide guidance to managers and HR Business Partners on best practices for performance evaluations and feedback.
  • Design, coordinate, and oversee leadership development programs to enhance managerial and leadership skills within the organization.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements based on feedback and outcomes. 
  • Manage and refine the succession planning process to ensure a pipeline of talent
    for key business critical roles.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partner team and senior leaders to identify and develop high-potential employees for future leadership positions.
  • Support DEI initiatives by further integrating inclusive practices into company culture and processes.
  • Provide support to the Business Partner team, managers and employees during organizational changes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Influence and partner with ERG Leadership and Participants to ensure programs and activities align with PrizePicks’ values and objectives
  • Monitor and analyze employee feedback to identify areas for improvement and take action to address concerns.
  • Lead the creation, adoption and administration of talent management tools
  • Assess onboarding roadmap to ensure current program drives successful assimilation of new hires across all levels of the organization.
What you have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 5 -7 years of increasing experience in Organizational Development, Talent Management, or Talent Development
  • Proficiency in talent management software. With expertise in several talent management toolkits and systems.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing talent management strategies.
  • SHRM-SCP, PHR, or other relevant HR certifications preferred but not required
  • Relevant work experience or strong interest in Sports, Daily Fantasy Sports or Media a plus
  • Experience leading others
