The Custody Product Specialist leads the support and delivery of all aspects of the Custody offering. The Custody Product specialist supports RMs with client sales and service; liaises with Operations and service teams; serves as internal and external audit lead; serves as point of contact with 2LOD, Finance and marketing; product governance representative; remediation and special project lead.

As our Custody Product Specialist you will:

  • Support RMs with pitching new account prospects, including pricing, and subsequent onboarding
  • Manage client inquiries/complaints
  • Provide guidance and support to FO sales team and service teams related to the Custody service model, document requirements
  • Provide guidance and support to the Custody service team related to the compliance and audit requirements
  • Be the Point of contact with Finance related to tracking product inflows, outflows, and revenue

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $155,700.00 and $233,600.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements

You'll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • Maintain strong product control, governance and compliance with all regulatory and policy requirements
  • Foster a strong and proactive risk & control mindset. Ensure products offered in a compliant and safe manner, respecting regulations, internal policies and with client needs and outcomes front of mind
  • Identify actual and emerging product risks and develop action plans to mitigate (e.g. MSIIs)
  • Maintain product design principles and fair product pricing
  • Implement recommendations made by Chief Control Office, 2nd & 3rd LOD, as well as external auditors and regulators as they relate to the product
