Highlights/Benefits of the Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor:

Responsibilities of the Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor:

  • Supervises care staff, assists in the allocation of caseloads, coordinates activities related to mental health and substance abuse treatment, and completes performance evaluation
  • Provides leadership in training and oversight of crisis response team
  • Actively participates in meetings, case reviews, supervisory sessions, etc.
  • Participates in patient care by developing plans for provision and services
  • Assessment and case management, planning, including revision of care plans for patients not progressing, collaborating with billing provider via participation in psych consults
  • Proven ability to ensure compliance with regulatory standards within the healthcare industry
  • Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously

Minimum Requirements of the Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor:

  • Active LCSW, LMFT, or PhD
  • 2 years of clinical experience in the realm of Behavioral Health
  • 1 year of clinical supervisory experience
  • Completion of the BBS Supervisory Training Course
  • California licensed or eligible to obtain
