Position Overview:
We are seeking a Clinical Director to lead our Surgery department. The compensation range is between $30 - $48 hourly, with additional paid differentials and a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a team of RVTs and Veterinary Assistants.
  • Exhibit strong veterinary clinical skills and serve as a role model.
  • Facilitate training and assess staff skill levels.
  • Manage scheduling and ensure adequate staffing.
  • Oversee payroll and staffing expenses, including timecard approvals.
  • Deliver results in staff development, best practices, client satisfaction, and safety.

Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma.
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary field.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations for medication dosages and invoices.
  • Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP); must obtain within 60 days of hire.
  • CA RVT license preferred but not required.
  • Veterinary Assistants with leadership aspirations are encouraged to apply.
Work Schedule:
  • Flexible schedule required.
  • Full-Time.
  • 4/10 schedule.
