*The Responsibilities: *

  • Safe worker.

  • Operate, adjust, and maintain all assigned Batch and Furnace equipment. To include Cullet Processing Plant, basement cullet hauling, and furnace equipment to assure product quality and efficiency.

  • Control the overall process to insure a proper safe operation with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Identify and solve operational and quality problems.

  • Perform special projects as assigned.

  • Primary duties will be assigned to Cullet Processing Plant.

  • Operate Mobile equipment once properly trained and certified.

*The Other Qualifications: *

  • Safe worker, willing to wear a respirator, and follow all Batch and Furnace safety procedures, and policies.

  • High School Graduate, or equivalent

  • Able to lift 50 lbs. and good work ethic.

  • Willing to take direction and execute clear expectations and tasks safely

  • Willing to be trained to operate mobile equipment (Trackmobile, Cat 928 Loader, Sellick’s and fork trucks).

  • Must have knowledge of the batch and furnace process.
