    • Engage in transparent communication with the Medical Director and Director of Nursing regarding patient diagnoses and care strategies.
    • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to formulate effective treatment protocols.
    • Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established treatment plans, including medication administration and other essential tasks.
  • Staff Oversight
    • Perform regular rounds to oversee and evaluate staff performance related to patient care and compliance with regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Document occupational exposures in line with facility guidelines.
    • Participate in external evaluations of nursing services.
    • Ensure all records are completed in accordance with Federal and State regulations.
    • Promptly communicate any reportable incidents.
    • Guarantee nursing documentation is thorough and reflective of patient care.
  • Unit Leadership
    • Actively listen to shift updates and maintain open lines of communication with colleagues and supervisors.
    • Attend mandatory nursing and team meetings.
    • Foster professional relationships with healthcare providers.
    • Respond effectively to emergency situations.
    • Encourage rehabilitation nursing practices within the unit.
    • Conduct assessments of both physical and mental health for residents as necessary.
    • Report any irregularities affecting the well-being of residents and staff to the Director of Nursing.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
