As a Transportation Specialist, you will:
Serve as a technical lead for the Agency’s Clearinghouse requirements and in addressing program and system issues.
Provide advice and guidance in planning, development, and implementation of policies and procedures for the operation of the Clearinghouse. Ensures uniform implementation of compliance procedures through coordination with Field offices and through program evaluation.
Act as Agency expert providing technical advice to Agency officials, including senior leadership on all areas of the Clearinghouse, including policy and regulatory interpretations.
Coordinate and/or prepare instructional materials to educate and guide FMCSA and industry personnel on the Clearinghouse.
The ideal candidate is a skilled professional with in-depth knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration compliance policies, regulations, and procedures, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. FMCSA directives and orders, and precedent.
