As a Supervisory Transportation Operations Specialist, you will:
Serve as a Supervisory Transportation Operations Specialist overseeing the MARAD Coordination Center implementing DOD requirements aboard NDRF/RRF ships.

Coordinate the development and implementation of operating policies and procedures and the adoption of best practices related to meeting DOD requirements for the NDRF/RRF.

Supervise subordinate personnel in the development of technical requirements, acquisition of goods and services, processing of invoices, and budget formulation.

Participate in the DOT-MARAD continuity of operations (COOP) program, including COOP drills and exercises.


The ideal candidate provides analytical and technical support for the Division Chief in maintaining processes relating to administering the National Defense Reserve Fleet (NDRF) program and the Ready Reserve Force (RRF).

Responsibilities include facilitating developing and implementing operating policies and procedures and the adoption of best practices related to meeting Department of Defense (DOD) requirements for the NDRF/RRF, overseeing execution of DOD operations aboard ship, monitoring policy execution, report maintenance and development, electronic records storage, and inspections of ships and field activities.
