What will you do? Carpool is looking for an ambitious Senior Account Executive to help fuel the growth of business partnerships with our existing customers. This individual will partner closely with the sales team to take over the account management of the client. We’re seeking a self-starter who will build relationships to drive the growth of existing customers by expanding revenue and vehicles shipped.
This is a competitive role and will require relationship building skills, a growth mindset, and an entrepreneurial spirit. As in every startup you will be wearing multiple hats beyond the core responsibilities. This is a great opportunity to get very broad exposure to building and running a business.
Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Develop relationships with customers to ensure ongoing customer engagement.
- Maintain daily contact with customers and inquire about shipment opportunities.
- Provide Monthly/Quarterly business reviews with top clients.
- Cultivate referrals and generate new business opportunities.
- Leverage analytics to review shipment data and ensure profitability of accounts.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of business development opportunities.
- Build expertise in automotive and logistics to support the customer’s supply chain.
Implementation
- Support sales with the solution design stage.
- Demo our technology suite to prospective partners.
- Support sales with the customer onboarding during the implementation.
- Facilitate the operational handoff and continued account management.
- Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure customer expectations and SOPs are met.
- After hours customer communication to align to customer’s business needs.
Qualifications:
▪ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
▪ 3-5 years of logistics and transportation experience.
▪ The role is in-person at the Atlanta office.
▪ Passion for building customer relationships.
▪ Positive attitude, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
▪ Ability to thrive under deadlines, multi-task, and work with a sense of urgency.
▪ Creative problem-solving, detail oriented and strong organization skills.
▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
▪ Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
▪ Willingness to travel, as needed.
