Technical Support Specialist - Help Desk

Location: 100% remote in USA

Type: 6-month contract

Compensation: $28-33/hour

Our industry-leading client is searching for a Technical Support Specialist to provide help desk support for PC, server, and mainframe applications
This role plays a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing customer relationships.

Here's what you'll be doing:
  • Reviewing and documenting client issues via various channels
  • Classifying severity, generating Client Support Help Desk tickets, and coordinating with resources for resolution
  • Providing level-one technical support and escalating complex issues
  • Verifying systems post-outages and monitoring critical path processing

Here's what our ideal candidate has:
  • 2+ years of related Help Desk/IT Support Experience
  • HS Degree or above (Bachelor's in computer science or related preferred)
  • Salesforce or Jira experience preferred
  • Financial industry/software experience is beneficial
  • Support Experience: Training provided for proprietary software
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Problem-solving mindset and team collaboration
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, and willingness to seek help
