Technical Support Specialist - Help Desk
Location: 100% remote in USA
Type: 6-month contract
Compensation: $28-33/hour
Our industry-leading client is searching for a Technical Support Specialist to provide help desk support for PC, server, and mainframe applications
This role plays a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing customer relationships.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Reviewing and documenting client issues via various channels
- Classifying severity, generating Client Support Help Desk tickets, and coordinating with resources for resolution
- Providing level-one technical support and escalating complex issues
- Verifying systems post-outages and monitoring critical path processing
Here's what our ideal candidate has:
- 2+ years of related Help Desk/IT Support Experience
- HS Degree or above (Bachelor's in computer science or related preferred)
- Salesforce or Jira experience preferred
- Financial industry/software experience is beneficial
- Support Experience: Training provided for proprietary software
- Troubleshooting Skills: Problem-solving mindset and team collaboration
- Communication: Strong communication skills, and willingness to seek help
