POSITION SUMMARY
As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Human Resources Leader will not only lead people initiatives but also play a vital role in building strong internal and external relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of visionary leadership, strategic people leadership and business acumen, team management, and exceptional interpersonal skills (servant leadership) to foster collaboration and trust to drive comprehensive, organization-wide solutions.
MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS
Strategic Leadership and Vision – Total Organization
- Develop and execute the organization's HR strategy in line with its overall business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure alignment between HR initiatives and corporate strategy.
Team Management and Development
- Lead the organization in talent acquisition, team member relations and performance management, compensation, benefits, learning and development, communications, and safety.
- Ensuring a strong culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and alignment with company vision and values across all locations.
- Implement results-oriented compensation systems and performance management processes that measure and evaluate progress against goals for the organization.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation, best practice sharing, and accountability.
Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with peers, team, location leaders, and key stakeholders to ensure positive company and people reputation.
- Represent the company at community events fostering the company reputation of being a great place to work.
- Act as a liaison between department leaders and the company, ensuring alignment of goals and cohesive cross-functional efforts.
Executive Leadership and Organizational Influence
- Serve as a strategic partner within the Executive Leadership Team, contributing to overall business strategy and operational decisions.
- Champion the interests of engagement and culture, ensuring its needs and goals are effectively communicated and aligned with the organization's objectives.
Policies and Team Member Relations
- Setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant HR polices, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee and engage in Team Member relations to ensure compliance and coaching for our managers.
Total Rewards
- Work closely with our broker to ensure a competitive benefits package.
- Conduct annual wage surveys and lead the annual compensation reviews and market research.
- Maintain all compensation wage bands and assist sales team in bonus/incentive planning.
Learning & Development
- Create a culture of continuous learning and manager buy in.
- Create preboarding and onboarding structures to maximize the team member experience.
- Create and execute manager training .
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 10-15 years of HR experience with 5 years of Executive leadership experience.
- Must be able to live in/or around the St. Cloud, MN area.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Strategic People Expertise
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful people strategies that have resulted in improved culture and overall engagement.
- Experience in leveraging tools and analytics to drive people operations.
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Team Member development, performance management, and succession planning
- Prefer consumer goods industry experience.
Cross-Functional Leadership Experience
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-departmental projects and initiatives, with a track record of achieving organizational goals through collaboration.
- Experience in change management and organizational restructuring to drive growth and efficiency.
Communications
- Strong internal and external communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of teams and leaders
- Ability to lead all internal communications and methods that increase overall engagement
