Spee-Dee Delivery is looking for a self-motivated individual who is responsible for aiding and facilitating the human resources processes for all business locations. This role provides support to the human resource function as needed, including onboarding, record keeping, scheduling, file maintenance and HRIS entry.

Hours and Wages:

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
  • Starting wage: $18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manages end to end onboarding processes and documents
  • Assists new hires with completing onboarding
  • Prepares new employee files
  • Assists with the processing of terminations
  • Completes forms I-9, E-verify, and maintains I-9 files
  • Performs clerical functions such as address changes, billing, filing and scanning HR documents
  • Assists with the performance review process
  • Completes employment verifications
  • Assists with HR reporting and daily roster
  • Conducts HR compliance audits such as employment posters
  • Answers and responds to HR calls and emails
  • Schedules interviews and pre-hire testing
  • Logs disciplinary forms
  • Performs other HR duties and projects as assigned
Experience and Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years professional experience in HR or Customer Service role preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
