Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Human Resources Director to lead our HR team. This role is critical in building and maintaining a high-performing, engaged workforce. The ideal candidate will be an expert in HR best practices, have experience in fast-paced environments, and possess the ability to foster a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Strategy:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy, ensuring seamless integration with our company's vision.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Ensure HR initiatives support the organization's goals and promote a positive culture, driving employee engagement and retention.

2. Talent Acquisition & Management:

  • Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring the attraction of top talent through effective employer branding and marketing strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Create and manage talent development programs to support employee growth, promoting career advancement and succession planning.

3. Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Foster a positive work environment and culture, promoting a sense of community and belonging among employees.
  • Address and resolve employee issues and conflicts, ensuring a fair and equitable work environment.
  • Develop and implement engagement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, driving productivity and job satisfaction.

4. Performance Management:

  • Oversee performance appraisal processes, ensuring accurate and fair evaluations.
  • Implement strategies for continuous performance improvement, driving employee growth and development.
  • Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives, ensuring data-driven decision making.

5. Compliance & Policies:

  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Provide guidance on HR legal issues, ensuring informed decision making.

6. Change Management:

  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives, ensuring a smooth transition for employees.
  • Ensure effective communication and implementation of changes, promoting a culture of adaptability.
  • Develop strategies to manage resistance and promote acceptance, driving employee engagement and commitment.

7. HR Operations:

  • Oversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits, and compensation, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Utilize HR analytics to drive data-informed decisions, improving HR processes and systems.
  • Continuously improve HR processes and systems, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

8. Health & Safety:

  • Oversee workplace health and safety programs in collaboration with the Safety Officer, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain a safe work environment, promoting employee well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to pivot quickly and manage multiple priorities.
