Role Overview:

Could you be our next Human Resource Office Manager? Globe Life is looking for an experienced Human Resource Office Manager to join the team

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Human Resource office. This position requires a highly organized and proactive individual capable of managing a wide range of administrative tasks and supporting the HR team in various capacities. By fostering a well-organized and productive environment, the Office Manager will contribute significantly to the company’s overall efficiency and effectiveness.

This is an onsite position located in McKinney, TX.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Provides in-office, hands on support welcoming and directing visitors, new hires, deliveries, etc.
  • Function as triage for general inquiries, directing more complex issues to the appropriate subject matter expert (SME).
  • Welcomes and supports weekly Globe Life McKinney new hires through IT set up and onboarding process in coordination with onboarding and orientation needs. 
  • Manage invoicing, billing, and tracking of departmental expenses including reconciliation to projections.
  • Manage schedules, appointments, and meetings for office staff and executives.
  • Prepare expense reports, documents, general reports, and presentation as required.
  • Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail which may include redistribution to remote employees or distributing deliveries/packages received from outside sources to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment; order and restock as necessary.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Reconciliation activities including, but not limited to, support of general HR operations and administrative needs.
  • Maintain and update records, files, and databases.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality regulations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications.
  • Draft and distribute memos, announcements, and other communications.
  • Address and resolve administrative issues and concerns.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to office processes and procedures.
  • Ensure the workplace is organized, clean, and functional.

What You Can Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred, or comparable experience.
  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
  • Dependable, punctual, and reliable.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office software.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Discretion and trustworthiness in handling confidential information.
