Key Responsibilities
- Deliver courses in alignment with the established class schedule and adhere to the approved course outlines and syllabi set forth by the Division faculty and overseen by the associate dean/director.
- Teaching assignments may occur across various campuses or external locations and may involve evening and weekend sessions.
- Potentially include Dual Credit courses.
Additional Responsibilities
- Execute other tasks as assigned.
- Uphold all duties and maintain standards in accordance with institutional policies, procedures, and core values.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Sedentary Role - Involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, minimal force frequently, and/or constant handling of objects, including the human body. Sedentary roles typically involve sitting most of the time, with walking and standing required only occasionally. Positions in this category generally include talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking, and repetitive motions, along with occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching. The work environment is generally free from unpleasant conditions or hazards, primarily office-based, requiring minimal physical exertion.
Educational Requirements
A Master's degree from an accredited institution in the relevant discipline or a related field. Alternatively, a Master's degree in any discipline with at least 5 years of experience in a healthcare environment or related field.
Prior teaching experience is preferred.
Certifications
Preferred healthcare credentials.
Experience in a healthcare setting may be considered in lieu of a healthcare credential.
