Parker - FAA Assembler

The Assembler position performs disassembly, assembly, re-work, and minimum testing of various
electrical/electronic equipment.

Roles and Responsibilities:
· Use electric soldering equipment to the IPC-A-B, Class standard
· Cut, prepare and pre-tin wires, prepare batteries, Apply conformal coat, marking and adhesive bonding
· Follow written and verbal instructions
· Complete work according to instructions, specifications and procedures, under direct and/or limited
supervision
· Perform a variety of complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance
with company instructions and procedures
· Conduct inspections of own and/or other associates work to ensure correctness in accordance with
company and/or customer drawing
· Maintain a clean and orderly workstation adhering to S standards
· Maintain an acceptable attendance and safety record
· Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures
· Additional job duties and tasks as needed
· Assist other departments with job duties, tasks, training, and development as needed
· Complete additional job duties and tasks as assigned and instructed by Lead Tech / Supervisor

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Education: Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and
work experience
Experience: Minimum of years prior related work experience in an electrical/avionics manufacturing/testing
environment
Skills:
· Able to read and comprehend regulations and instructions in English
· Effective oral and written communication
· Must be able to work all shifts and available for overtime and weekends as needed
· Proficient in using the tools, equipment, and inspection aids applicable to the scope of work assigned
· Use hand tools, power tools and electric soldering gun
· Lift and Carry up to lbs
· Able and willing to comply with Drug-Free Workplace policies and pass all related drug/alcohol
screenings
· Able to perform complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operation
· Capable of solving problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents
or procedures
· Skilled at simple welding tasks and/or brazing, or soldering
· Ability to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions,
policies and procedures
· Experience with MS Office Suite
· Good manual dexterity required to work with small parts
· Approximately % sitting and % standing/walking about in-door Company facilities
· Use head and neck in static position, looking up/down and side-to-side
· Perform major hand grasping and fine finger manipulations using both hands

· Perform light lifting from floor, table and shelf
· Push and pull carts or mobile tables, loaded and unloaded
· Minimal: heavy lifting from floor or higher, bending, twisting, climbing, lifting arms above shoulders, kneeling,
exposure to excessive noise, hazardous chemicals, hazardous equipment, uneven walking surfaces "

Must have a valid driver's license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.

The pay range for this position is $ - $ ; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
