Position Overview:
The FAA Assembly Technician role involves the disassembly, assembly, rework, and basic testing of various electrical and electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
· Utilize electric soldering tools in accordance with IPC-A-B, Class standards
· Cut, prepare, and pre-tin wires; prepare batteries; apply conformal coating, marking, and adhesive bonding
· Adhere to both written and verbal directives
· Execute tasks following specifications and procedures under direct or limited supervision
· Conduct a variety of intricate mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly tasks in line with company protocols
· Inspect own work and that of colleagues to ensure compliance with company and customer specifications
· Maintain a tidy and organized workstation, adhering to safety standards
· Uphold an acceptable attendance and safety record
· Follow all company policies, guidelines, and procedures
· Perform additional duties as required
· Support other departments with job responsibilities, training, and development as necessary

Qualifications and Educational Background:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
Experience: Prior experience in an electrical or avionics manufacturing/testing environment is preferred
Skills:
· Proficient in reading and understanding regulations and instructions in English
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Availability to work all shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed
· Competent in using tools, equipment, and inspection aids relevant to assigned tasks
· Capable of using hand tools, power tools, and electric soldering equipment
· Ability to lift and carry up to specified weight limits
· Willingness to comply with Drug-Free Workplace policies and pass related screenings
· Skilled in performing complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations
· Problem-solving abilities in atypical situations based on existing procedures
· Proficient in basic welding, brazing, or soldering tasks
· Ability to read and interpret company documents, including safety rules and operating instructions
· Familiarity with MS Office Suite
· Good manual dexterity for working with small components
· Physical capability to perform tasks involving sitting, standing, and walking within indoor facilities
· Ability to perform hand grasping and fine finger manipulations

Additional Information:
Must possess a valid driver's license and meet state-required minimum vehicle insurance coverage.
