Job Summary

The campus activities board student employee is responsible for event programming on campus. This position coordinates social, educational and cultural events designed to fulfill student interests.

Job Responsibilities

Plans and executes campus events for the entire student body

Service Orientation

Greets students and employees

Communication, Collaboration and Teamwork

Collaborates with team to construct ideas and event planning structures

Planning, Organizing and Accountability

Serves as a team lead for events and submits necessary paperwork throughout the planning process Continuously assesses event planning and execution for potential risks

Initiative, Problem Solving and Decision Making

Provides accommodations for last-minute changes in weather, availability or equipment

University Mission

Supports the mission of the university and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence

Job may require other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications –An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.

Good academic, social and financial standing with the university Current enrollment in classes at Lindenwood University

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities – May be representative, but not all inclusive, of the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform this job competently.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures Strong intrapersonal skills Excellent attention to detail Highly organized Professional integrity and reliability General office software, particularly Microsoft Office Suite
