We are currently seeking a part-time Student Assistant - Campus Store Clerk to join our team at the SCC Campus Store, where you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding service to our clientele.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

  • Welcoming students and visitors to the store
  • Managing incoming calls on a multi-line phone system
  • Identifying the purpose of calls and providing accurate information
  • Directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel or department
  • Processing transactions at the register
  • Assisting students in locating their course materials and other products
  • Supporting the receipt of textbooks
  • Contributing to the organization of textbook shelves and merchandising on the sales floor
  • Availability to work varying schedules within store hours of 8am to 5pm

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a currently enrolled student with a minimum of 6 credit hours.
  • Exhibit a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions
  • Maintain confidentiality in sensitive matters
