Full time Contract to Direct opportunity in Kenosha for an Electro-Mechanical Technician.
Qualified person must have both an electrical and mechanical background.
Travel will be required upon going direct in 6 months - up to 25%, all national.
1st shift: 6am - 2:30p Mon - Fri
OT is available 
Hourly rate up to $30.00/hr


Duties & Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical equipment, including but not limited to motors, generators, transformers, and control systems
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to identify and address potential issues before they become critical
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical malfunctions, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment performance and efficiency
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to understand equipment specifications and configurations
  • Perform regular testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Calibrate and adjust machinery components to maintain accuracy and efficiency
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities, including parts replaced, work performed, and equipment conditions, to maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or in electro-mechanical technology is preferred
  • 3 years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and mechanical components
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools, meters, and hand tools effectively
  • Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations in an industrial setting
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with relevant software and computerized systems used in electro-mechanical maintenance is a plus
  • Pre-employment background check & drug screening require
