Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including conveyors, packaging equipment, and electrical controls systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with equipment, including electrical and mechanical components.
  • Order and manage inventory of spare parts and materials for maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with production leadership to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
  • Assist in training and development of junior maintenance staff.
  • Participate in root cause analysis activities to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a maintenance role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to understand and apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

The Maintenance Technician II will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazardous conditions. The position requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, as well as working at heights and in confined spaces.
