Technology Program Manager
Primary Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Technology Program Manager for our premier client in Cincinnati, Ohio.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Technical Requirements and Certifications »
  • PMP certification or equivalent experience preferred or must be working toward certification.

Education and Experience »
  • Proven experience as a lead program/portfolio manager working with technical, product, business, and vendor teams.
  • 3rd-party vendor management experience is a plus.
  • Agile and waterfall project experience.

Top 3 Must-Haves:
  • Self-Starter: A self-starter with a ‘learn and apply’ attitude in an intense, fast-paced environment.
  • Stakeholder Experience: Experience working with leading stakeholder groups, including technical, product, business, and vendor teams as a lead program/portfolio manager.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
  • Familiarization: Quickly become familiar with organizations, ways of working, and enterprise processes.
  • Project Management Rigor: Understand individual projects and ensure appropriate levels of project management rigor are applied.
  • Project In-Take Process: Establish and facilitate a project in-take process.
  • Status Reporting: Establish and publish portfolio-level status reports to key leadership stakeholders regularly, including project funding allocation and benefit realization considerations.
  • Portfolio Reviews: Establish and facilitate portfolio reviews with business, leadership, and key stakeholders.
  • Issue Resolution: Partner with business and Product leads to ensure issues are addressed timely and priorities are clear.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Work with dedicated project managers to ensure project issues and risks are communicated upward for resolution.
  • Resource Management: Manage overall project manager resource capacity levels.
  • Coordination and Facilitation: Coordinate, facilitate, and follow up on meetings.
  • Schedule and Budget Management: Create and track schedules, risks, issues, and budget (when applicable).
  • Risk Mitigation: Develop risk mitigation plans and escalate decisions and unresolved issues as needed.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain project portfolio communications with stakeholders at multiple levels.
