Your Responsibilities:
  • Quickly grasp organizational structures, workflows, and enterprise processes.
  • Implement robust project management methodologies across individual projects within the portfolio.

  • Generate comprehensive portfolio-level status reports for key leadership stakeholders, encompassing project funding allocation and realized benefits.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews with business leaders, stakeholders, and technical teams.

  • Work closely with dedicated project managers to facilitate effective communication and escalation of risks and issues.
  • Manage overall resource capacity for project managers within the portfolio.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and follow up on meetings effectively.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, risk assessments, issue logs, and budgets (where applicable).
  • Proactively develop risk mitigation plans and escalate decisions or unresolved issues as needed.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders at all levels regarding program progress and updates.
What You'll Need:

To excel in this role, you'll bring:

  • A PMP certification or equivalent experience is preferred (or actively pursuing it).
  • Proven experience leading technology programs and portfolios, collaborating with technical, product, business, and vendor teams.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors is a plus.
  • Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Exceptional self-motivation, adaptability, and a 'learn and apply' mindset in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong experience working with diverse stakeholder groups, including technical, product, business, and vendor teams.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate and manage project risks effectively.
  • Proven problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Experience motivating teams and delegating tasks effectively.
  • A confident, solution-oriented approach to independent work.
