Regional Human Resources Generalist

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

Must maintain current knowledge of Federal and State employment and wage and hour laws to work collaboratively with onsite Team Leaders to educate and ensure compliance within stores. Work regularly with onsite store management to educate and instill human resources best practices: Execute: RecruitmentOnboardingWork as a team with store management to focus on high turnover departments to evaluate hiring practicesHelp stores to facilitate regular benefit education to employeesWork as a collaborative team with the Regional HR Manager and Operations Management to conduct thorough employee relations (ER) investigations Assist Larry H. Miller Automotive Group HR department with various research projects and/or special projects Performs other related duties as required and assigned

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Protect the legal, financial and moral wellbeing of the dealership; Educate and maintain all applicable company procedures, policies and benefits; Be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful; Seek ways to improve business operations efficiencies and customer service.

REPORTS TO: New Mexico Regional Human Resources Manager

OPERATE WITH INTEGRITY:

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or the equivalent 4 years human resources experience; SHRM or HRCI certification preferred but not required 4 years experience of conducting employee relations (ER) investigations or Bachelors degree in HR Management. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint and Word High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation Good organizational and multi-tasking skills; detail oriented Excellent spelling and grammar skills Public speaking experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work performed in an office and occasional dealership settings. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about facilities. Ability to travel up to 50% annually, within assigned market/city. Must maintain a valid Motor Vehicle Record within company policy requirements.

Miller Dealerships by conducting his/her self in a professional and courteous business manner that demonstrates integrity and avoids the actual or perception of a conflict of interest. Planning/Organizing- the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently. Schedule: Full-time

Standard hours: 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday Flexibility required : While standard hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, there may be occasions where additional hours are necessary to meet business needs. Employees should be prepared and available to work beyond regular hours when required.
