Ambercare, an Addus family company, is seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to support our growing hospice team in Albuquerque. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of up to $18, immediate openings, and a 401(k) match.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison to corporate Human Resources for new hires and current employees
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering routine employee questions accurately and in a timely manner regarding benefits enrollment, changes, pay, and more
  • Support branch management with payroll on a weekly basis by reviewing timecards and addressing payroll inquiries
  • Verify that all pre-hire steps have been completed, including the completion of pre-hire forms, background checks, and drug screens
  • Monitor the completion of Form I-9 and E-Verify submission, and assist branch management in ensuring timely completion of all required documents
  • Maintain new hire document checklists and assist with the assembly and maintenance of branch personnel files, both hard copy and electronic, to ensure files are complete with all necessary documents
  • Ensure employee files are in compliance with applicable laws and in preparation for ACHC regulatory audit reviews

Requirements:

  • One to three years of human resources administrative experience or equivalent education/certification
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time with strong multi-tasking skills
  • A valid driver's license with an insured automobile in accordance with state requirements
