As the Distributor and Sales Operations Manager, reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Sales, you will play a crucial role. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our distributor customers (UNFI, KeHe and others) building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure smooth communication and efficient operations.  
  • Work closely with Category Manager, Field Sales Manager and/or brokers to optimize sales strategies and operations. Ensure alignment with sales objectives and enhance relationships with buyers to drive business growth.
  • Lead Distributor Forecasting, Planning, and Inventory Management. Take charge of all initiatives related to forecasting, planning, and inventory management with distributors. Utilize data analysis and market insights to optimize inventory levels and ensure product availability. 
  • Provide support to the sales team to ensure accurate and timely sales forecasts and estimates. Collaborate with operations to align strategies and streamline processes. Act as a bridge between the sales and operations teams. 
  • Facilitate weekly meetings with the sales team to discuss goals, strategies, and progress. Provide updates on market trends, customer feedback, and any relevant information to support sales efforts. 
  • Assist the Senior Vice President of Large Format Retail Sales with various tasks and initiatives as needed. Provide support in analyzing sales performance, developing strategies, and executing plans to drive growth in the large format retail segment. 

 What will make you successful in this role: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management
  • At least 3 years of experience working with distributors and/or in consumer foods sales. Experience with UNFI and KeHE required. 
  • Sales Planning experience in CPG or food. 
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities while handling multiple tasks and projects. 
  • Experience developing and implementing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, that supports innovation and improvement.  
  • Must have a high attention to detail and organization. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office with intermediate to advanced Excel skills. 
  • A customer-centric approach, developing and maintaining strong business partner relationships. 
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to influence and collaborate internal and external with cross functional teams and customers.
