Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate clinical teams engaged in strategic planning and tactical implementation of clinical informatics technology systems.

  • Collaborate on identification, analysis, prioritization, design, testing and implementation of
    electronic medical record clinical applications and to determine the decision support needs of
    clinicians.
  • Develop and coordinate training programs for new and existing nursing, physicians and clinical staff.
  • Develop and maintain training materials and end user documentation.
  • Develop and maintain support plan for system training related issues for clinical staff. Recruit, train and maintain Super User group for system support.
  • Act as functional lead for oversight committee and related governance organizations. Coordinate meetings and support activities.
Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Valid Michigan Driver's License required. Must be willing to travel on a periodic basis to physician's offices.
  • Registered Nurse preferred

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
    degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative
    job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
