Are you dedicated to enhancing the nutritional well-being of seniors? As a Clinical Nutrition Specialist at Ciena Healthcare, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents enjoy flavorful and nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement of food and supplies while adhering to budgetary constraints, ensuring an adequate supply for all meals.
  • Provide expert guidance and administrative oversight in diet planning, menu development, and the preparation and service of both standard and therapeutic diets.
  • Ensure that meals are not only nutritious but also appealing and prepared in a timely manner, strictly following menus and dietary orders.
  • Conduct interviews with residents and their families to gather essential dietary histories.
  • Complete the dietary sections of clinical records accurately and promptly.
  • Engage in regular meetings, including department head and interdisciplinary care plan discussions.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Serve Safe certification is required.
  • Preferred experience of one to two years in a management or supervisory role.
