Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement of food and supplies within budgetary constraints, ensuring adequate provisions for each meal.
  • Provide expert guidance and administrative oversight in diet planning, menu development, preparation, and service of both standard and therapeutic diets.
  • Ensure that meals are nutritious, appealing, and prepared in a timely manner, adhering to established menus and dietary orders.
  • Conduct interviews with residents and their families to gather dietary histories as needed.
  • Accurately complete the dietary sections of clinical records in a timely manner.
  • Participate in regular meetings, including department head conferences and interdisciplinary care plan discussions.

Qualifications

  • Must hold registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Serve Safe certification is required.
  • Preferred experience of one (1) to two (2) years in a management or supervisory role.
