:Business Strategy Planning Director
Location : This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
The Business Strategy Planning Director is responsible for business unit strategic planning and customer insight work.
How you will make an impact:
Primary duties may include but are not limited to:
Understands all aspects of the business and partners with executive leadership to define strategy and successful criteria for the future. Translates strategy into defined tactics, programs/projects priorities, and timelines and ensures alignment and attainment of enterprises strategic plans to turn strategy into reality. Documents strategic priorities such as external environment and reports on customer insight research initiatives. Builds and leverages relationships to provide innovative solutions to complex business problems. Proposes opportunities to improve results based on continuous needs assessment. Responsible for the development implementation and monitoring of line of business planning and project activities.Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience including prior leadership experience and 3 to 5 year strategic planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences :
Master’s degree preferred. Risk Adjustment experience preferred. Strong writing and verbal communication. Proven ability to execute within highly matrixed environments. Demonstrated project and program management acumen. Prior experience working within health insurance or health provider organizations Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.Job Level:

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.
